Procrastination and Getting Things Done

Let me tell you about an evening when I got a huge amount of stuff done.

I read several chapters of a book I had always wanted to read, I listened to two albums, went shopping at 7 Eleven, did an exercise routine with push ups, sit ups and stretches, had several cups of coffee and perfected a juggling trick. All of this sounds great – only problem is I had an exam at 9am the next morning. I got a lot of stuff done but unfortunately not the one thing that really mattered that evening.

Sometimes it’s easy to rush around getting things done but miss out on the thing that really matters.
