Where time goes?
Submitted by admin on Tue, 12/29/2009 - 22:32About Crave Time
Submitted by admin on Tue, 12/29/2009 - 22:15We crave time because we do not have enough of it.
The purpose of this website is to help you find time to do what matters to you. CraveTime core principles are based on the value of our limited time. Hence the need to – (i) appreciate our time (past and present); (ii) be good stewards of our time; and (iii) respect the time of others.
There are three main parts to this website:
- Save Time – This section provides ideas to help you save time. This may involve adopting a technique, making use of a time saving service or product, changing your thinking, or simply making a decision that will give you more time.
- Got Time – Have you got time to do what matters to you? This section seeks to build a list of ‘what matters’ to our CraveTime community and how much time and/or resource is required to participate.
- About Time - This section seeks to encourage - an appreciation of time, a greater understanding of time, and knowledge of where time goes.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. It is our hope that it will be time well spent and that through CraveTime you will find time to do what matters to you. We started the website in January 2010. Our plan is to build time-saving content rapidly, so please keep returning.
In good time, Steve Oades and David Jeyachandran
About Us
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/27/2009 - 20:54CraveTime is brought to you by Steve Oades and David Jeyachandran.
Steve Oades pictured with his daughter. He heads up the research and development arm of Adept Business Systems, and is currently taking a sabbatical from volunteer work. Over the past decade Steve has been dedicated to volunteer work with teenagers, refugees, mission work in India, and sat on volunteer committees. He hopes to one day work full time helping charities and missions operate more effectively.
Steve craves time to – spend with his family, have good conversations over a meal with friends, learn, travel, keep fit, give, and time to just sit quietly and think.
David Jeyachandran pictured with his wife and twin girls. Everyone with toddlers craves time especially with twins. DJ is currently in Peru learning Spanish as he prepares to work with a Christian Mission. DJ is one of life’s Mr Nice guys- very passionate, diplomatic with a great smile. He often manages to survive awkward situations like the time he signed up for a triathlon, even though he couldn’t swim.
DJ craves time to do the things he is doing now but to be able to do them better.
Enough about us – the purpose of this website is to help people who are craving more time in their life to do the things they would rather (or should) be doing.
